Crofters Bull hire scheme is to be retained

One of the more important means for crofters in Argyll and the Highlands to improve the quality of their cattle has been saved from an EU axing.

The good news included plans to upgrade the stud facilities at Knocknagael and Balrobert, near Inverness, although decentralised community studs are being looked at for the future.
